The Himachal Pradesh government has recently implemented a reshuffle among its Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers.
- Kamlesh Kumar Pant (1993 batch) is now the Additional Chief Secretary (Forest) with additional responsibilities as Financial Commissioner (Appeals), relieving R D Nazeem (1995 batch).
- Abhishek Jain (2002 batch) has been appointed Secretary in the Departments of Digital Technologies, Governance, PWD, and Finance, Planning, Economics, and Statistics.
- M Sudha Devi (2003 batch) retains her role as Secretary in the Department of Health and Family Welfare while taking on the additional Secretary (Personnel) charge.
- Priyanka Basu (2008 batch) has been assigned as Secretary for the Departments of Labour and Employment, Printing and Stationery, Fisheries, and Youth Services and Sports.
- Rakesh Kanwar (2007 batch) has received an additional charge as Secretary (NCES).
- Rajesh Sharma (2008 batch) will serve as Secretary in the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, continuing his additional role as Secretary of the Lokayukta.
