6 IAS transferred in Himachal Pradesh, Kamlesh Kumar Pant made ACS Forest

The Himachal Pradesh government has recently implemented a reshuffle among its Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers.


  1. Kamlesh Kumar Pant (1993 batch) is now the Additional Chief Secretary (Forest) with additional responsibilities as Financial Commissioner (Appeals), relieving R D Nazeem (1995 batch).
  2. Abhishek Jain (2002 batch) has been appointed Secretary in the Departments of Digital Technologies, Governance, PWD, and Finance, Planning, Economics, and Statistics.
  3. M Sudha Devi (2003 batch) retains her role as Secretary in the Department of Health and Family Welfare while taking on the additional Secretary (Personnel) charge.
  4. Priyanka Basu (2008 batch) has been assigned as Secretary for the Departments of Labour and Employment, Printing and Stationery, Fisheries, and Youth Services and Sports.
  5. Rakesh Kanwar (2007 batch) has received an additional charge as Secretary (NCES).
  6. Rajesh Sharma (2008 batch) will serve as Secretary in the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, continuing his additional role as Secretary of the Lokayukta.
