In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel-led government of Chhattisgarh transferred 37 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers including collectors of 19 districts. The General Administrative Department (GAD) of the government issued an order on Tuesday, informing about the reshuffle.

The 19 districts that will get new collectors are Raipur, Korba, Bilaspur, Kabirdham, Kanker, Durg, Bemetara, Dantewada, Surguja, Janjgir-Champa, Balod, Bastar, Kondagaon, Rajnandgaon, Mungeli, Sukma, Balrampur-Ramanujganj, Raigarh and Balodabazar-Bhatapara.

As per the order, 2002 batch IAS officer and Secretary of Technical Education and Employment Department Reeta Shandilya has been appointed as a Member of the Board of Revenue. Meanwhile, 2005 batch IAS officer R Sangeetha has been appointed as Secretary of Technical Education and Employment Department and Nodal Officer of Pradhanmantri Gatishakti Yojana. Director of Social Welfare Department and 2006 batch IAS officer P Dayanand has been appointed as Director of Ayush.

2007 batch IAS officer and Special Secretary of Cooperative Department and Registrar of Cooperative Institutions Himshikhar Gupta has been given the additional charge of Special Secretary of Commerce and Industry Department. He has been relieved from the additional charge of Managing Director of Chhattisgarh State Road Development Corporation. 2007 batch IAS officer Janak Prasad Pathak has been appointed as Special Secretary of Water Resources Department.

Korba collector Ranu Sahu has been shifted as Raigarh collector. The 2008 batch IAS official Bhim Singh, who was posted as Raigarh collector, has been appointed as new Chief Executive Officer of Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Development Authority and also given additional charge of Commissioner of Commercial Tax. 2008 batch IAS officer and Registrar of Firms and Societies and Mission Director of Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural) Satyanarayan Rathor has been given the additional charge of Managing Director of Warehousing Corporation.

2009 batch IAS officer Dr. Priyanka Shukla, who was posted as Special Secretary, Health and Family Welfare department and state Mission Director, National Health Mission, has been appointed as Kanker collector. 2009 batch IAS officer Dr. Tamboli Ayyaj Fakirbhai has been appointed as Special Secretary of the Agriculture Department. He has been given the additional charge of Nodal Officer of Narva Garwa Ghurwa Bari and Chhattisgarh Godhan Yojana, Mati Pujan Abhiyan, Director of Urban Administration and Development Department and Member Secretary of Narva Mission. Raipur collector Saurabh Kumar has been made Bilaspur collector and Durg collector Bhure Sarveshwar Narendra will replace him as Raipur collector.

2009 batch IAS officer and Balodabazar-Bhatapara Collector Doman Singh has been appointed as new Rajnandgaon district collector. 2010 batch IAS officer and Bilaspur Collector Saransh Mittar has been appointed as Managing Director of Chhattisgarh Road and Infrastructure Development Corporation. Kabeerdham Collector and 2010 batch IAS officer Ramesh Kumar Sharma has been appointed as Director of Social Welfare Department and Director of Land Records. 2010 batch IAS officer and Commissioner of Chhattisgarh Housing Board Dharmesh Kumar Sahu has been given the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer of Raipur Development Authority.

Kanker Collector and 2011 batch IAS officer Chandan Kumar has been appointed as new Bastar Collector. 2011 batch IAS officer and Bemetara Collector Bhoskar Vilas Sandeepan has been appointed as Mission Director of the National Health Mission. Dantewada Collector Deepak Soni has been appointed as new Kondagaon Collector. Surguja Collector and 2011 batch IAS officer Sanjeev Kumar Jha has been appointed as new Korba Collector. 2011 batch IAS officer and Janjgir-Champa Collector Jitendra Kumar Shukla has been appointed as new Bemetara collector. Balod Collector and 2011 batch IAS officer Janmejai Mahobe has been appointed as new Kabeerdham Collector.

Bastar Collector and 2012 batch IAS officer Rajat Bansal has been appointed as Balodabazar-Bhatapara Collector. Bastar Collector and 2012 batch IAS officer Rajat Bansal has been appointed as Balodabazar-Bhatapara Collector. 2012 batch IAS officer and Kondagaon Collector Pushpendra Kumar Meena has been appointed as new Durg Collector. 2012 batch IAS officer and Rajnandgaon Collector Taranprakash Sinha has been appointed as new Janjgir-Champa Collector. Mungeli Collector and 2013 batch IAS officer Gaurav Kumar Singh has been appointed as new Balod Collector. Sukma Collector and 2013 batch IAS officer Vineet Nandanwar has been appointed as Dantewada Collector.

Balrampur-Ramanujganj Collector and 2014 batch IAS officer Kundan Kumar has been appointed as Surguja Collector. Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Ambikapur and 2015 batch officer Vijay Dayaram has been appointed as Balrampur Ramanujganj Collector. Chief Executive Officer of Jila Panchayat Bilaspur and 2015 batch IAS officer Harish S is appointed as new Sukma Collector.
