The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), on August 7, cleared the appointment of civil service officers at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
R Vyasan (IAS 2007-Batch) has been assigned the post of Director, PMO. Prior to the appointment, Vyasan was posted at the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance. However, now he will hold the newly-appointed post up to August 23, 2023.

Surbhi Jain (IES 2001-Batch) has been given the charge of Director, PMO for a period of five years. Earlier, she was serving as Economic Adviser in the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance.
