Kuldeep Singh

Kuldiep Singh, an IPS officer of 1986-Batch of West Bengal cadre, has been appointed as Director General (DG) of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in the additional capacity. Singh, at present, is serving as Director General (DG), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

The appointment orders came in as the incumbent DG, NIA, Y C Modi (IPS 1984-Batch) is about to retire on May 31, 2021. Singh will be holding the post till the appointment of a successor.
