In accordance with the orders from the Government of Jharkhand, Shantanu Kumar Agrahari, an IAS officer of 2012-Batch of Jharkhand cadre, was appointed as Director of Census Operations (DCO)/Director of Citizen Registration (DCR), Jharkhand on April 9.

The charge of DCO/DCR is equivalent to the rank of Deputy Secretary. Agrahari will be serving at the post upto December 31, 2025.
