Gujarat Govt. promotes 3 IPS officer to DGP rank

The Government of Gujarat, in a recently issued official order, granted proforma promotions to three IPS officers to the rank of Director General of Police (DGP). The officers being promoted are currently serving their tenure of central deputation.
Atul Karwal (IPS 1988-Batch) is presently serving at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Police Academy, Hyderabad.
Praveen Sinha (IPS 1988-Batch), currently is posted in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), New Delhi.
Vivek Srivastava (IPS 1989-Batch) is serving at Intelligence Bureau (IB), New Delhi.
