Former Maharashtra Chief Secretary and current Principal Advisor to the Chief Minister, Ajoy Mehta (IAS 1984-Batch) will be taking over the charge of Chief, Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA).
As per the sources, the present Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar also showed interest in the position while a few IAS officers had also applied for the position that went vacant since the tenure of Gautam Chatterjee, the first MahaRERA Chief, ended.
