The Government of Uttar Pradesh, amidst a minor bureaucratic rejig, transferred and posted  two IPS officers in the state on September 21.

Sonam Kumar (2016-Batch IPS) has been made the Additional Superintendent of Police (SP), Gorakhpur.

Aditya Langeh (2016-Batch IPS) has been given the chare of Additional SP, Varanasi.
