IAS offers


Amidst a significant administrative reshuffle, the Personnel Ministry, Government of India has transferred and posted as many as 16 IAS officers as joint secretaries or equivalent posts in various central government departments.

P Amudha (1994-Batch) has been posted as Joint Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). Amudha is currently serving as Professor, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in Mussoorie.

Keshav Chandra (1995-Batch) has been given the charge of the Director of Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. He is presently working in the Government of Delhi.


Varsha Joshi (1995-Batch) is appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying for a tenure of five years.

Sudhir Kumar (1999-Batch) will be assuming the post of Additional Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission (CVC).


Saurav Ray (1994-Batch) will be assuming the position of Custodian of Enemy Property for India, New Delhi, Ministry of Home Affairs, for a tenure of five years.

Sajjan S Yadav (1995-Batch) has been posted as Joint Secretary, Department of Expenditure.

Nidhi Pandey (1991-Batch) and Vinayak Garg (1995-Batch) have been appointed as Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Department of School Education & Literacy.

Anupam Mishra (1995-Batch) will take the charge as Joint Secretary in the Department of Consumer Affairs.

Rakesh Mittal (1995-Batch) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Defence.

Pallavi Agarwal (1991-Batch) has been given the charge of Joint Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development.

Aparna S Sharma will be assuming the post of Joint Secretary, Department of Fertilizers.

Amit Mehta (1987-Batch) has been appointed as the Joint Secretary, Department of Heavy Industry.

Parama Sen (1994-Batch) is to take the charge of Joint Secretary, Department of Investment and Public Asset Management.

Nitishwar Kumar (1996-Batch) will be taking up the post of Member Secretary, National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

Sanjay Awasthi (1989-Batch) has been posted as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation.
