SSC expected to release revised schedule for examination today

As many exams were postponed due to the lockdowns imposed across the country, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to roll out a revised schedule for examination under it on June 1, today. The commission may also take decisions regarding pending vacancies for various positions for the previous year.

Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam and Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) exam are among the most valued examinations under the commission. These exams are conducted for various positions in various government departments. The selected candidates are recruited for various positions in the ministries and departments under the Government of India.

The SSC CHSL 2019 exam which was scheduled to be held on March 16 to 27, 2020 has been postponed due to Corona outbreak and the commission is expected to release date in November 2020 for the exam. A total of 4893 recruitments are to be done through the exam.
