SSC to roll out revised exam calendar after lockdown ends

As per a recent announcement from the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), a revised calendar for SSC 2020 exam will be rolled out after the lockdown ends. The Commission will review the situation arising out of COVID-19 Lockdown on May 18, said SSC. The Commission has already notified that the SSC CHSL Tier-1 2019, SSC JE Paper-1 2019, SSC Stenographer Grade C & D 2019 and SSC CHSL 2018 Skill Test Exam dates  have been pushed forward due to the countrywide lockdown.


Post reviewing the situation arising out of COVID-19 on May 4, the SSC had announced that the Commission organises examination in over 150 cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Chennai – all which have been marked as red zones. Also, the candidates are required to travel to appear for the exam, hence, once the lockdown is lifted the Commission will revise the examination dates as per the situation.

The SSC further said the dates of the examinations will be announced at least one month prior for convenience of the candidates.
