UPSRTC donates Rs 2.4 cr to CM’s relief fund to fight COVID19

Workers of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) came forward with a helping hand to the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the fight against COVID19.  The Corporation donated a total sum of Rs 2.4 crore to the CM Distress and Relief Fund. All the workers donated their one day’s salary that totalled to Rs 2.4 crore.


The CM praised the efforts made by the workers and humbly accepted the demand draft handed over by Rajesh Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary Transport and Raj Shekhar, Managing Director, UPSRTC today at his residence.

The move by the transport corporation has contributed significantly to the fund to be used for implementing measures to stop further spread of COVID19.
