Complete government ecosystem in centre and states, along with different stakeholders from the social and corporate world – at this moment – are making all-round efforts to control the spread of coronavirus in the country. The viral outbreak has claimed over 100 lives as of yet.

“The situation – in actuality – is exigent as all the government and private agencies, including urban bodies, municipal corporations, collectorates, hospitals, civil and traffic police forces, railways and special purpose vehicles for smart cities missions need to work together and rise to the occasion to control the spread of coronavirus,” said Sameer Unhale, Additional Municipal Commissioner, Thane and CEO, Thane Smart City Limited.

While participating in the webinar – right from Thane’s Command and Control Centre on Sunday evening –  Unhale emphasized on the need to follow the protocol and government advisories to a tee and spoke on various initiatives being undertaken by Thane Smart City Limited to fight against the COVID-19.
