The Government of Uttar Pradesh has made a major bureaucratic rejig, which has led to transferring of 13 IAS officers. Majority of the officers are of District Magistrate level.

Alok Kumar Pandey (2006-Batch), District Magistrate & Collector, Saharanpur has been transferred as the Special Secretary to Medical Department.

Akhilesh Singh (2008-Batch), District Magistrate (DM) and Collector of Shamli has been transferred as the DM of Saharanpur.

Dr Rupesh Kumar (2009-Batch) has been named the DM of Pratapgarh. Prior to this posting, he was holding the post of Special Secretary to Medical Education Department, Uttar Pradesh.

Bhupendra S Chaudhari (2009-Batch), Special Secretary, Home & Jail Department, has been appointed as the DM of Kushinagar.

Ravindra Kumar (2010-Batch), DM and Collector of Kannauj has been named the DM of Unnao.

Markandey Shahi (2009-Batch), DM and Collector of Pratapgarh has been appointed as the Special Secretary of the Medical Education Department.

Jasjit Kaur (2010-Batch), Additional Managing Director, National Health Mission, Uttar Pradesh and Additional Project Director, UP AIDS Control Society has been posted as the District Collector of Shamli.

Dr Anil Kumar Singh (2010-Batch) has been named the Special Secretary to Home & Jail Department. He was holding the post of DM, Kushinagar.

Heera Lal (2010-Batch), DM, Banda has been appointed as the Assistant Managing Director, National Health Mission, Lucknow.

Andra Vamsi, 2011-Batch officer, who was holding the post of Additional Registrar (Banking), Cooperative Department, Uttar Pradesh, has been appointed as the DM of Jhansi.

Shiv Sahai Awasthi (2012-Batch) has been appointed as the Special Secretary and Additional Commissioner, Genium Sugarcane Development Department.

Amit Singh Bansal (2012-Batch), Special Secretary, Medical Education Department, and Additional Director, Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), has been named the DM of Banda. He would take over the post from Heera Lal.

Rakesh Kumar Mishra (2012-Batch), DM and Collector of Ambedkar Nagar has been the District Collector of Kannauj, replacing Ravindra Kumar.
