Surendra Kumar Bhagat, a 1982 batch IPS officer of Uttarakhand cadre, and P V Krishna Reddy, a 1982 batch IPS officer of Tripura cadre, have been appointed to the post of Special Director General, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
Currently, Bhagat is posted as Additional Director General (ADG), J&K sector, while Reddy is posted as ADG, Force Head Quarter (FHQ), Delhi.
