Movva Tirumala Krishna Babu, an IAS Officer of 1993 batch from Andhra Pradesh Cadre, assumed the additional charge of Chairman of Paradip Port Trust (PTP). Presently, he is serving as Chairman of Visakhapatnam Port Trust
Babu replaced Sudhansu Sekhar Mishra, who repatriated to his cadre service. He had been heading the PTP since 23 November 2012.

He urged all officers and employees of the port to continue their best effort for the development of the port.
