MTNL’s mobile, landline and broadband connections can be availed by just sending an SMS or communicating online.
The company has operations in Delhi and Mumbai only.The service will be charged as per normal SMS rate of the operator. the company has started similar facility through its website as well.For Mumbai, MTNL has started booking of broadband connections through a toll free number.

The state-run telecom firm has also started a toll free number, 1800111503, for customers looking to shift on its network using mobile number portability service which allows a customer to change his mobile phone service provider while retaining the mobile number.
