Karnataka wins AGT Award for e-Governance

Nemmadi is intended to bridge the digital divide and deliver various pro-people programmes adopted by the State Government. 'Nemmadi', a rural delivery e-Governance product has been adjudged among 212 projects from 14 different countries at the Government Technology Award presentation ceremony held at Phuket, in Thailand. Another project, 'BangaloreOne', of the Karnataka Government's e-Governance department, had also bagged the 'Certificate of Merit' under the Microsoft e-Governance award in the Microsoft Government Leadership Summit-2007 held in New Delhi.
