The capital of Manipur, India, Imphal would be connected with the district headquarters upto sub-divisional/ block headquarters for running e-Governance applications by various departments of state government.
All the concerned departments and offices will also be connected by 2 MBPS leased line and the same project is to be implemented in Manipur under the National e-Governance Plan (NEGP) and Statewide Area Network, SWAN. The state science and technology department, departments like the agriculture department, MAHUD, PWD, horticulture, industries, co-operation, craftsman's training, adult education and jail department have submitted details of the respective departments.
