Northamptonshire and Cambridge-shire County Councils, UK, are planning to work together on a shared services project, including finance, HR and procurement.

Initially the project will focus on sharing transaction services. This joint venture will develop a programme, which would be eventually used by other public bodies. Cambridgeshire County Council has budgeted to save
