Wakefield Metropolitan District Council in UK has announced that a new website, www.horburyvillage.com, is being launched, promoting the village to residents and visitors alike.

The site has been commissioned by the Horbury Town Centre Partnership. It will give the people of Horbury easy access to information about their town. The website will start running on 13 November 2006, and will be a focal point for the community, including everything from news and events to shopping and a recipe page. Local businesses are well represented on the website. The 'shops and businesses' page has contact details for many of Horbury's excellent independent retailers, with a recipe page as well.
