In a bid to make e-Governance a reality, Bihar is all set to take a big leap towards e-Governance to adopt it as a state policy on the advice of President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
The Government Information Technology Officers (GITO) Council, South Africa, informed that it would help municipalities to improve the service delivered to citizens through ICT.
Really, it is a hectic and tiresome activity to stand in a queue and spend hours and hours to access property records in a government office. To give an end to this problem, the state government will soon introduce computerised registration of land and property records and khata transfer system at sub-register offices records for easy availability of all copies in time to public.
The state cabinet of Bihar, India, adopted e-Governance as a state policy to cover the entire state and district administrations for better and transparent flow of information from the government level down to the block administration.
