The Department of Posts (DoP) has launched i-Code cards in Bihar to help the unemployed find better job avenues. It is an initiative that would work as an e-Employment exchange and bridge the gap between the employee and the employers
Maharashtra CM, Prithviraj Chavan, recently launched a new initiative in Bhiwandi village of a state. The initiative is on the lines of financial inclusion using biometrics where he issued smart cards to beneficiaries of the Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Yojyna, a state-sponsored financial aid scheme for destitutes.
