e-Government as a part of Sri Lanka
Netguru Inc’s Indian subsidiary, Netguru India has won an e-governance contract from the Jharkhand state government to develop a portal for them to increase interaction with the public.
A workshop was convened to establish Tanzania Parliamentary Network for ICT for Development (ParlNet ICT D Tanzania) simply dubbed BungeNet. The Cabinet has officially endorsed establishment of electronic-government (e-government), as part of the ambition to turn the country into a hub of information and communication technology in Africa. This initiative to be co-ordinated by the Public Service Department, would enable the government to collect and hold vast amounts of locally relevant information.
