Recently, the Waseda University Institute of e-Government has released its 2007 World e-Government Ranking. The Institute has ranked the development of e-Government in 32 countries from all over the world.
Minister for Information Technology Dayanidhi Maran has unveiled 26 projects under the National e-Governance Plan, which would cost the Government of India around INR 23,000 crore in the coming five years.
