Swapnakant Samal has taken on the role of Head of Talent and Organisation Processes at Waaree Group, where he will lead talent acquisition strategies, streamline organisational processes, and align human resources with business goals to propel growth in the solar energy sector.

With over 20 years of experience in human resources, Samal specialises in talent management, organisational development, and HR process optimisation. He previously served as Head of Corporate Functions Hiring, Policy, Process & Digitisation at Reliance Industries Limited, where he played a key role in enhancing recruitment efficiency through digitised HR processes.

Before his tenure at Reliance, Samal was the Head of Human Resources at Khaitan & Co from 2009 to 2015, overseeing HR operations across multiple locations in India. His career includes leadership roles at Shinsei Asset Management India, JM Financial Asset Management, i-flex Solutions, and Heinz India.
