Bureaucratic Appointments: Dnyaneshwar Bhalchandra Patil made Development Commissioner SEEPZ, Prerna Puri appointed CEO JakeGA

Dnyaneshwar Bhalchandra Patil, a seasoned IAS officer from the 2003 Madhya Pradesh cadre, has assumed office as the Development Commissioner (Joint Secretary Level) at the Santa Cruz Exclusive Export Processing Zone (SEEPZ), Special Economic Zone, Mumbai. He succeeds Shyam Jagannathan, a 1997 batch IAS officer, in this pivotal role under the Department of Commerce.

Vibhu Nayar, an IAS officer from the 1990 Tamil Nadu cadre and currently serving as the Secretary in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, has been entrusted with an additional charge. He will also serve as Secretary in the Ministry of Women and Child Development from 24.04.2024 to 05.05.2024, during the leave period of Anil Malik, a 1991 batch IAS officer.

Prerna Puri takes on new role in Jammu & Kashmir e-Governance Agency

Prerna Puri, an IAS officer from the 2006 AGMUT cadre, currently serving as Commissioner in the Department of Information Technology (GoI), has been assigned an additional responsibility. She will now serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the JakeGA (Jammu & Kashmir e-Governance Agency Department of Information Technology).
