In a significant administrative transition, Rubal Prakhar Agarwal, a seasoned IAS officer from the 2008 batch, has taken over the reins as the Managing Director of the Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation LTD (MMMOCL). She succeeds Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee, a distinguished IAS officer from the 1996 batch, in this pivotal role.
Prior to her appointment, Ms. Agarwal served as the Commissioner of the Integrated Child Development Services Scheme in Maharashtra, amassing considerable expertise in bureaucratic affairs. With her extensive background and rich experience, she is poised to steer MMMOCL towards its ambitious goals.
She is expected to play an important role in MMMOCL’s mission to operate and maintain metro lines and the Mumbai Monorail and construct 337 kilometres of metro lines in the MMR region.
