The Maharashtra Government has recently transferred 10 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers to the state.
Among the notable changes, Kailash Shinde, a 2013-batch IAS officer, has been directed to assume the role of Municipal Commissioner at the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC).
Furthermore, Abhijit Bangar, Commissioner of Thane Municipal Corporation, and Amit Saini, the Mission Director of Jal Jeevan Mission, both from the 2008 and 2007 batches, respectively, have been appointed as Additional Commissioners of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Additionally, Sanjay Meena, a 2002-batch IAS officer, has been assigned the responsibility of Metropolitan Commissioner at the Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority.

Further changes include the transfer of Santosh Patil, CEO of Kolhapur Zilla Parishad, to the role of CEO at Pune Zilla Parishad, while Shubham Gupta, the current CEO of Dhule Zilla Parishad, has been transferred to the same position at Jalgaon Zilla Parishad.
