Silicon Valley technologist Srikanth Nathamuni is making a pitch for municipal e-governance systems. Srikanth Nathamuni and Infosys CEO Nandan Nilekani are together bringing IT for social and e-Governments Foundation.

The municipal Corporations of New Delhi and Bangalore, apart from 57 urban local bodies of Karnataka under the `Nirmal Nagara Project, have already implemented the e-Governance system. They have websites for project tracking facility. Corporation officials have reacted positively to implement e-Governance systems.
