The Uttarakhand government has transferred 15 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, assigning them new responsibilities across departments. The transfer orders were issued by the Home Department and released by Principal Secretary Shailesh Bagauli.
Key Appointments
- 2013 batch IPS officer Tripti Bhatt has been appointed Additional Secretary, Home and Prisons Department, with additional charge as SP, Fire Service.
- 2005 batch IPS Neeru Garg has been posted as IG, Fire Service.
- 2006 batch IPS officer Arun Mohan Joshi has taken charge as IG, CID, while Krishna Kumar VK will handle Police Telecommunications after being relieved of CID responsibilities.
- IPS Karan Singh Nagnyal has been posted as IG, Prisons, and IPS Mukhtar Mohsin as IG, GRP.
- 2013 batch IPS Yogendra Singh Rawat has been appointed IG, Personnel and Headquarters, while IPS Sunil Kumar Meena has been relieved of GRP responsibilities.
2008 batch IPS officer Nivedita Kukreti has been assigned charge of SDRF.

- IPS Ramchandra Rajguru has been posted as SP, Police Headquarters.
- IPS Sarita Dobal has been appointed SP, ATS.
- IPS Yashwant Singh has been posted as IG, IRB, First, Ramnagar.
- IPS Harish Verma has been appointed Commander, 40th Battalion PAC, Haridwar.
- IPS Vimmi Sachdeva Raman has been relieved of Police Headquarters duties and will continue to handle Provisioning and Modernisation.
