Centre: Key Bureaucratic Appointments Announced, Check List

The Union Government issued crucial notifications on Monday regarding high-level appointments and recommendations. Archana Agrawal (IAS: 1990: UP) has been repatriated to her parent cadre on personal grounds; she was previously serving as Member Secretary, NCR Planning Board (NCRPB). Tarun Kumar Pithode (IAS: 2009: MP) has taken charge as Member Secretary of the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM), after serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (MoEF&CC).


In key international postings, Dr Pankaj Kumar (RBI) has been appointed Senior Adviser to the Executive Director (India) at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Washington DC, for a three-year term. Dr Dirghau Keshao Raut (RBI) will also serve as Adviser to the Executive Director (India) at IMF, Washington DC, for a three-year tenure.

Tripti Gurha (IRTS: 1993), Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Women & Child Development, has been repatriated to her parent cadre on personal grounds, with an extended cooling-off period. Kalyani Sethuraman (IRAS: 1994), Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. (HAL), Bengaluru, has been given additional charge as CVO at Bharat Electronics Ltd. (BEL), Bengaluru, for six months.
