The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the empanelment of 10 officers from the Indian Information Service (IIS) and Indian Telecommunications Service (ITS) for positions at the Joint Secretary or equivalent rank in the Government of India. These officers are now eligible for senior postings, a step expected to strengthen leadership roles across multiple ministries and departments.

The newly empanelled officers include:

Indian Information Service (IIS):

• Ritu Shukla (IIS 2000)

• Shruti Patil (IIS 2000)

• Prakash Bhupal Magdum (IIS 1999)

Indian Telecommunications Service (ITS):

• Ajay Kumar Nema (ITS 1994)

• Ashok Kumar (ITS 1994)

• Ashok Kumar Jain (ITS 1994)

• Rajiv Ranjan Tiwari (ITS 1994)

• V S Burde (ITS 1994)

• Ashutosh Jain (ITS 1993)

• Satyanarain Gupta (ITS 1993)
