The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB), the premier public-sector head-hunter, has announced the selection of senior professionals for crucial leadership roles in various Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) across sectors.
Ashok Kumar has been selected for the post of Director (Finance), National Seeds Corporation Limited (NSC), a Schedule “B” CPSE under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. Kumar, currently serving as General Manager and Head of Department at SJVN Limited, was chosen after a competitive interview process involving nine candidates. His appointment is subject to necessary clearances and approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
In another major selection, PESB has named Jahangeer Alam Ansari for the post of Director (Finance), Goa Shipyard Limited, a Schedule “B” CPSE under the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence. Ansari is presently Chief General Manager (Finance) at Indian Oil Corporation Limited. Ten candidates were interviewed for the position. His appointment too is subject to the requisite approvals.
Additionally, Rajesh Pratap Singh Sisodia has been selected for the role of Director (Planning & Projects), NLC India Limited, a Schedule “A” CPSE under the Ministry of Coal. Currently working as Executive Director of the New and Renewable Business Group at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Sisodia was chosen from among 12 candidates after a detailed evaluation.
Meanwhile, PESB has advertised two high-level vacancies. The post of Managing Director in Bengal Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Limited (BCPL), a Schedule ‘B’ Central PSU, which became vacant on 1 October 2024, has been advertised on 25 July 2025. Applications are invited from eligible candidates by 1 September 2025.

Similarly, PESB has announced the vacancy for the post of Chairman & Managing Director at Central Electronics Limited (CEL), a Schedule ‘B’ Central PSU, effective from 18 July 2025. Applications must be submitted by 14 August 2025 by candidates meeting the specified eligibility criteria.
