In a significant administrative overhaul aimed at strengthening governance and streamlining public service delivery, the Tamil Nadu government under the leadership of Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has transferred 55 IAS officers, including nine district collectors, across various departments and districts. This large-scale reshuffle underscores the state’s continued emphasis on reform-oriented and performance-driven administration.

Key Highlights from the Reshuffle Order:

2001 batch IAS officer Rajendra Ratnoo, who was serving on Central deputation, has been appointed as Principal Secretary to the Government of Tamil Nadu. His return is expected to infuse central-level insights and experience into the state’s top bureaucratic leadership.
