In a recent administrative reshuffle, the Madhya Pradesh government has assigned additional responsibilities to three senior IAS officers, reinforcing the state’s governance structure. ACS Sanjay Dubey Appointed Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board

Sanjay Dubey, a senior IAS officer from the 1993 batch, currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) in the General Administration Department, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board (ESB), Bhopal. This appointment is expected to bring greater transparency and efficiency to the recruitment processes in the state.

Dubey’s extensive administrative experience is anticipated to strengthen the board’s functioning, ensuring fair and streamlined selection processes for government jobs. His appointment aligns with the state government’s commitment to improving recruitment standards and enhancing public trust in the system.


ACS Ashok Barnwal Designated as Agriculture Production Commissioner

Ashok Barnwal, a 1991-batch IAS officer who is currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Forest and Cooperative Department, has been assigned the additional role of Agriculture Production Commissioner. This position is crucial for overseeing agricultural development and ensuring improved productivity in the state.

With his expertise in administrative leadership, Barnwal is expected to play a key role in formulating policies that will enhance agricultural output, support farmers, and contribute to the overall growth of the agricultural sector. His appointment comes at a time when the state is focusing on boosting agricultural production through better resource management and innovative farming techniques.

Dr. E Ramesh Kumar Entrusted with Additional Charge of Backward Classes and Minority Welfare

Dr. E Ramesh Kumar, a 1999-batch IAS officer currently serving as Principal Secretary in the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department, has now been given the additional charge of the Backward Classes, Minority Welfare, and Denotified Nomadic Tribes Department.

In his new role, Dr. Kumar will oversee initiatives aimed at the welfare and upliftment of marginalized communities.
