In a sweeping overhaul of the administrative framework, the Madhya Pradesh government, led by Dr. Mohan Yadav, has announced the transfer of 42 IAS officers and 12 officers from the State Administrative Service (SAS). The General Administration Department issued the orders late on January 27, 2025.
The reshuffle marks a significant shift in district leadership, with 11 collectors replaced. Among the districts witnessing new appointments are Raisen, Khandwa, Khargone, Burhanpur, Dewas, Sheopur, Barwani, and Sehore. Key appointments include 2011-batch IAS Neha Marvya Singh as Collector of Dindori, Vivek Shrotri (2012 batch) as Collector of Tikamgarh, and Rishav Gupta (2014 batch) as Collector of Khandwa.
