Ministry of Corporate Affairs

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs‘ MCA21 platform continues to drive the Ease of Doing Business with enhanced digital solutions, recording 80.26 lakh form filings between April 2024 and January 2025—a notable increase from 73.29 lakh filings during the same period last year.

The newly developed MCA21 V3 platform has seen significant adoption, with 53.08 lakh filings from April 1, 2024, to January 27, 2025—surpassing the 47.72 lakh filings recorded in the previous year. This rise reflects greater stakeholder engagement and system robustness.

MCA21, India’s first Mission Mode e-Governance Project under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP), has been operational since 2006 for end-to-end registry and incorporation services for companies and LLPs. The latest enhancements in MCA21 V3 include web-based forms for real-time data validation, user registration for seamless authentication, and a live chat feature to assist stakeholders in real-time.

To reinforce security and confidentiality, the platform complies with MEITY guidelines, CERT-In regulations, ISO 27001, and Information Security Protocols. Measures like multi-factor authentication and data masking have been introduced to protect user data integrity.

The Minister of State for Corporate Affairs and Road Transport & Highways, Harsh Malhotra, highlighted these developments in a written reply in the Lok Sabha today.
