
The 15-hour course on PM GatiShakti, developed by Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) in collaboration with the Bhaskaracharya Institute for Space Applications and Geo-Informatics (BISAG-N) and the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), was officially launched by Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. The event also witnessed the presence of Jitin Prasada, Minister of State for Commerce & Industry, Electronics & IT; Amardeep Singh Bhatia, Secretary, DPIIT; Surendra Ahirwar, E. Sreenivas, and senior officials from central and state governments as well as representatives from leading industries.
The course, aimed at enabling efficient infrastructure planning and development, is now accessible on the iGOT Platform for civil service officers and will support the curriculum of Central Training Institutes (CTIs) and Administrative Training Institutes (ATIs). Furthermore, it is available on the UGC Swayam Portal, extending its reach to students across India.

Under an MoU signed last year between GSV and DPIIT, GSV was designated as the central nodal agency for PM GatiShakti initiatives across India. The university has formed strategic partnerships with various organizations, including the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, Gujarat Infrastructure Development Board, and Karmayogi Bharat, to fulfill this critical national mandate.

The course content, curated by Prof. Jitesh J. Thakkar and Dr. Vipul Mishra in collaboration with BISAG-N officials, is structured into six modules. It covers the key components, technologies, layers, project life cycle, and use cases of PM GatiShakti, providing comprehensive insights into the transformative initiative.
