The Gujarat government has transferred four high-ranking IAS officers, impacting key departments and boards across the state. Among the notable changes, Tushar Mohanlal Dholakia, a 2009-batch IAS officer, has been appointed Chairman of the Gujarat Subordinate Services Selection Board (GSSSB), Gandhinagar. Dholakia, who previously served as Director of Civil Supplies and Ex-officio Additional Secretary in the Food, Civil Supplies & Consumers Affairs Department since 2019, brings extensive expertise from his roles in water resources, tribal development, and social defence.

D P Desai, an IAS officer from the 2008 batch, has been reassigned from his position as Municipal Commissioner of Rajkot to Chief Executive Officer of the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA). In addition, he will oversee the operations of the Gandhinagar Urban Development Authority (GUDA), assuming the responsibilities previously held by Bhavya Verma, who has been relieved of the additional charge.
