
In a significant administrative shake-up on Monday, the Uttar Pradesh government transferred three IAS officers and nine PCS officers, assigning them to crucial roles across various departments and universities.
IAS officer Brijesh Narayan Singh has been appointed as the Commissioner and Registrar of Cooperative Societies, tasked with overseeing the state’s cooperative societies. Rajesh Prakash has been named Director General of the Fisheries Department, focusing on fisheries development, while Rajesh Kumar will take on additional duties as Registrar of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University alongside his current responsibilities.
On the PCS front, Pushpraj Singh now holds additional charge as Registrar of Prof. Rajendra Singh University, Prayagraj, with Hariom Sharma overseeing Deen Dayal Upadhyay University, Gorakhpur. Vijay Kumar Singh has been appointed Registrar of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh University, Aligarh.

Other key appointments include Pramod Kumar as Registrar of Maa Pateshwari University, Balrampur; Dr. Vishram at Maa Vindhyavasini University, Mirzapur; and Shashi Bhushan at Guru Jambheshwar University, Moradabad. Durgesh Mishra, Anju Verma, and Nirankar Singh have been assigned additional roles at Madan Mohan Malaviya Technical University, Harcourt Butler Technical University, and Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Ayush University, respectively.
