4 IAS transferred in Uttar Pradesh, Anupam Shukla made MD UP Renewable & EV Infrastructure Limited

In a minor yet significant bureaucratic arrangement in the state, the Uttar Pradesh Government has transferred four IAS officers. Anupam Shukla, a 2016 batch IAS officer currently serving as the Director of Uttar Pradesh Non-Conventional Energy Sources (UPNEDA) and Special Secretary in the Energy and Additional Energy Sources Department, has been given the additional responsibility of Managing Director of UP Renewable & EV Infrastructure Limited.


In this reshuffle, Anand Kumar Shukla, previously the Additional Director of the State Urban Development Agency (SUDA), has been assigned as the Chief Development Officer of Ambedkar Nagar. The outgoing Chief Development Officer, Prannata Aishwarya, a 2019 batch IAS officer, will now serve as Special Secretary in the Namami Gange and Rural Water Supply Department and Joint Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam.

Umesh Pratap Singh, a 2012 batch IAS officer who was last stationed as Special Secretary in the Geology and Mining Department, will now assume the position of Special Secretary for the Backward Classes Welfare Department. Meanwhile, Arun Kumar, previously Special Secretary in the Namami Gange and Rural Water Supply Department and Joint Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam Rural, has been appointed as Special Secretary for the Geology and Mining Department.
