The Punjab government implemented a massive bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring 25 IAS and 99 PCS officers across the state. As per the transfer orders, Alok Shekhar (IAS, 1994 batch), previously the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of jails, now holds the additional charge of social justice, empowerment, and minorities.
DK Tiwari (IAS, 1994 batch) will now serve as ACS in the transport department, while Rahul Bhandari (IAS, 1997 batch) has been appointed principal secretary in the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, and Fisheries.
Rahul Tiwari (IAS, 2000 batch), previously Secretary in the housing department, has taken on the additional charge of new and renewable energy sources. Sandeep Hans (IAS, 2010 batch) is now the director in the Department of Social Justice, Empowerment, and Minorities.
Sanyam Aggarwal (IAS, 2012 batch) has been named commissioner of the Bathinda Municipal Corporation, while HS Sudan (IAS, 2013 batch) has taken over as Special Secretary in the Department of Revenue.
Aditya Uppal (IAS, 2015 batch), formerly Deputy Commissioner of Pathankot, will now serve as commissioner of the Pathankot Municipal Corporation. Abhijeet Kaplish (IAS, 2015 batch) has been appointed director of mines and geology with additional responsibilities as secretary of the Punjab Development Commission.
Neeru Katyal Gupta (IAS, 2016 batch) is now the chief administrator of the Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority. Ravinder Singh (IAS, 2017 batch) has been posted as director in the Department of Higher Education, while Ankurjeet Singh (IAS, 2018 batch) has taken on the role of additional commissioner in the Jalandhar Municipal Corporation.

Chandrajyoti Singh (IAS, 2020 batch) has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner in the Department of Rural Development, Roopnagar, and Ojasvi (IAS, 2020 batch) will now serve as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) in Faridkot.
