IAS Paramveer Singh, from the 2015 batch and previously serving as Special Secretary Finance, has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of Tarn Taran. He takes over the role from fellow 2015 batch officer IAS Gulpreet Singh Aulakh, who was removed following Election Commission orders due to violations in the Panchayat Elections. Aulakh, who had been in the position for only three days, has now been assigned as Commissioner of Municipal Corporation, Amritsar.

Additionally, PCS officer Sumandeep Kaur, who was available for posting, has been appointed as Joint Commissioner of Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar.
