Haryana: TVSN Prasad appointed Chief Secretary, Amna Tasneem made MD CONFED

The Haryana government recently issued immediate posting and transfer orders for eight IAS and four Haryana Civil Service (HCS) officers. TVSN Prasad, a 1988 batch IAS officer, has been appointed the new Chief Secretary of the state and holds additional charges in various key departments.


Prasad had been serving as the interim chief secretary since March 15, following the leave of Sanjeev Kaushal, who retired on July 31.

Mani Ram Sharma is now the Chief Executive Officer of Ayushman Bharat Haryana Health Protection Authority and the Special Secretary of the Home Department. Yash Pal takes on additional responsibilities as Director of Consolidation of Land Holdings and Land Records and Special Secretary of Revenue and Disaster Management.

Shaleen is appointed Director of Tourism, Amna Tasneem as Managing Director of CONFED and Secretary of the Haryana State Commission for Scheduled Castes. Ram Kumar Singh becomes the Municipal Commissioner of Ambala, while Sangeeta Tetarwal is the new Labour Commissioner. Neha Singh is posted as Additional Resident Commissioner at Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi.

Among the HCS officers, Naveen Kumar Ahuja is appointed Secretary of the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board in Panchkula, and Virender Chaudhary becomes the Managing Director of Cooperative Sugar Mills, Shahbad.
