Following major administrative changes in the Uttar Pradesh Police Department, the Yogi Adityanath-led state government has initiated a sweeping reorganisation in the bureaucracy. In a move that affects key administrative positions, the government has transferred and appointed 19 IAS officers, including 8 District Magistrates.

The reshuffle comes after several IAS officers served in their respective roles for a three-year term, prompting their removal as per directives from the Election Commission.

Among the notable appointments, Joginder Singh, a 2013 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the District Magistrate of Pilibhit, previously serving as the Vice Chairman of Bareilly Development Authority.

Indra Vikram Singh, a 2010 batch IAS officer, assumes the role of DM in Ghaziabad, transitioning from his previous posting as DM in Aligarh.

Rakesh Kumar Singh (II), a 2016 batch promotee IAS officer, previously serving as the DM of Ghaziabad, now takes charge as the DM of Kanpur Nagar.

Vishak G Ayyar, a 2011 batch IAS officer, who held the position of DM in Kanpur city, now assumes office as the DM of Aligarh.

Sanjay Kumar Singh I, another 2011 batch promotee IAS officer, previously serving as the DM in Farrukhabad, has been reassigned to Rampur as DM.

Ravindra Kumar Mander, a 2013 batch IAS officer and former DM of Rampur, now takes on the role of DM in Jaunpur.

Anuj Jha, a 2009 batch IAS officer and former DM of Jaunpur, now serves as the Additional Chief Electoral Officer.

BK Singh, a 2019 batch promotee IAS officer, previously holding the position of Estate Officer & Special Secretary in the Estate Department, is now the DM of Farrukhabad.

Nisha Anand, a 2015 batch IAS officer, who was previously posted in the Labor Department, now assumes the role of DM in Amethi.

Divyanshu Patel, a 2017 batch IAS officer, who previously served as the Special Secretary in the Food Safety and Drug Administration Department, now takes on the position of Municipal Commissioner of Moradabad.

Manikanandan A., another 2017 batch IAS officer, who served as the Chief Development Officer of Agra, has been appointed as the Vice Chairman of Bareilly Development Authority.

Additionally, numerous Chief Development Officers have been transferred, although the Appointment Department has not released official information regarding these transfers.
