In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has recently assigned 16 young IAS officers from the 2021 batch to the role of Joint Magistrates across various districts in the state. This move is aimed at providing these officers with valuable on-ground administrative experience as they begin their careers.

Among the notable appointments, Jagriti Awasthi has been designated as the Joint Magistrate of Prayagraj, while Ankita Jain assumes the role of Joint Magistrate in Kushinagar. Sarthak Agarwal is entrusted with the responsibilities of Joint Magistrate in Varanasi, and Shashwat Tripurari takes on the role of Joint Magistrate in Mathura.

The list of appointments continues, with Krishna Kumar Singh appointed as the Joint Magistrate of Jhansi, and Divya Mishra taking charge as Joint Magistrate in Bijnor. Prakhar Kumar Singh assumes the role of Joint Magistrate in Kanpur city, while Rallapalli Jagat Sai has been entrusted with the responsibilities of Joint Magistrate in Barabanki.


Additionally, Mrinali Avinash Joshi has been designated as the Joint Magistrate of Gorakhpur, while Pooja Gupta takes on the role in Ghaziabad, and Dhruv Khadia in Ayodhya. Kriti Raj has been appointed as Joint Magistrate in Firozabad, Shahid Ahmed in Basti, Kandarkar Kamal Kishore in Meerut, and Harshika Singh in Chandauli. Himanshu Gupta will be serving as Joint Magistrate in Unnao.
