In a recent bureaucratic shuffle in Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath-led state government announced the transfer and reassignment of key administrative officers, affecting the dynamics of governance in various regions.

Among the significant changes, the 2011 batch IAS officer Pulkit Khare, who was serving as the ACEO (Assistant Chief Executive Officer) of Greater Noida, has been placed on hold, until further orders.

In his stead, the 2016 batch IAS officer Sunil Kumar Singh has been appointed as the new ACEO of Greater Noida. Singh, who was serving as the Special Secretary of the Housing and Urban Planning Department, brings a wealth of experience to his new role.

As part of the reshuffle, Abhishek Kumar, a 2020 batch IAS officer, has been designated as the Chief Development Officer (CDO) of Hapur. He was formerly the Joint Magistrate of Jalaun. Concurrently, Ajay Kumar Gautam, currently serving as the Joint Magistrate of Kanpur, will take charge as the CDO of Etawah.

In a surprising turn of events, the transfer of IAS officer Sukhlal Bharti as Special Secretary Secondary Education has been cancelled. Bharti will now continue in his role as the Special Secretary of the APC (Appointment and Personnel) Branch.

Beyond the reshuffling in Greater Noida, adjustments have also been made in Lucknow. Four Additional Deputy Commissioners of Police (ADCPs) witnessed changes in their responsibilities. ADCP Vishwajeet Srivastava will now handle the protocol and charge of the western zone. ADCP Jaya Shandilya is assigned the dual responsibilities of overseeing protocol work and addressing crimes against women. Kripa Shankar has assumed the role of ADCP High Court Security, while ADCP Ashok Kumar has been transferred from High Court security to Headquarters Crime Branch.
