In a significant administrative reorganisation involving 16 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and 28 Haryana Civil Service (HCS) officers, the Haryana government has undertaken a swift reshuffling of deputy commissioners (DCs) in seven districts, effective immediately as of Saturday.

According to official directives, Sushil Sarwan, who previously oversaw multiple departments, including employment and skill development in his role as director, has been reassigned as the DC of Panchkula. Sarwan’s appointment replaces that of Priyanka Soni, who now assumes the position of director and special secretary for medical education and research. Additionally, the Panchkula DC will also shoulder the responsibilities of chief administrator for the Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board in Panchkula.

Formerly serving as the managing director and special secretary for the Haryana State Federation of Cooperative Sugar Mills and Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare, Manoj Kumar-1 has been designated as the new DC for Yamunanagar.

Mandeep Kaur, who previously held the position of Fatehabad DC, has been designated as the new Charkhi Dadri DC, replacing Preeti, who now takes on the roles of administrator for HSVP in Rohtak and additional director for urban estate in Rohtak. The previous Jind DC, Manoj Kumar-II, has been reassigned as the Sonepat DC. Rahul Hooda, who formerly held the position of Yamunanagar DC, has been appointed as the new Rewari DC. Hooda takes over from Mohd Imran Raza, who has been reassigned as the Jind DC. Meanwhile, Prashant Panwar assumes the role of Fatehabad DC.

Sanjay Joon, previously serving as the secretary for finance, has been designated as the managing director for the Haryana State Federation of Cooperative Sugar Mills. He will also concurrently hold the positions of director general and secretary for Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare, a position previously held by Manoj Kumar-1.

Mona Sreenivas, currently serving as the additional resident commissioner at Haryana Bhawan in Delhi, will additionally take on the responsibilities of Faridabad municipal commissioner.

Ripudaman Singh Dhillon, the secretary for the Haryana State Commission for Scheduled Castes, will also assume the role of director for elementary education and special secretary for school education. Ashok Kumar Garg will undertake the role of commissioner for the Manesar municipal corporation, while Jitender Kumar will serve as the district municipal commissioner for Rohtak and commissioner for the Rohtak Municipal Corporation.

Mahavir Kaushik has been assigned the role of special secretary for urban local bodies and will continue to serve as the special secretary to the government for the Haryana Home-I Department.

In addition, Sahil Gupta, who was the commissioner for the Manesar Municipal Corporation, has now been reassigned as the additional deputy commissioner-cum-district citizen resources information officer for Palwal, along with the role of district municipal commissioner for Palwal.
