Five more IAS officers shifted in Maharashtra

In a series of administrative changes, the Maharashtra government on Saturday carried out yet another bureaucratic reshuffling, transferring five officials from the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) across the state. These transfers occurred just a day after 20 officers were also reassigned to different positions within the government.


Anil Diggikar, who held the position of Vice President and Chief Executive Officer at MHADA in Mumbai, has been appointed as the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of CIDCO, also in Mumbai.

Manisha Patankar-Mhaiskar, previously serving as the Additional Chief Secretary and Chief Protocol Officer in the General Administration Department, has been reassigned as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Public Works Department. She will also retain her current responsibilities in addition to the new role.

K H Govinda Raj, the former Additional Metropolitan Commissioner-2 of MMRDA, has been designated as the Principal Secretary (2) of the Urban Development department.


Sanjay Mukherjee, who previously held the position of Vice Chairman and Managing Director at CIDCO, has now been appointed as the Metropolitan Commissioner of MMRDA.

Asheesh Sharma, the Principal Secretary (2) of the Urban Development Department, has been reassigned as the Additional Metropolitan Commissioner-2 of MMRDA.
